However with no job except taking care of the kids, I should have a little more time this summer to stay current. I hope to get some scrapbooking done this summer, too! I have a baby book for Sophie, but no scrapbook and that will have to change because I don't ever want her to feel left out! I can't believe my baby is 3 years old! She is growing up so fast! She had so much fun at her birthday party at Chuck E. Sometimes we go in her room to get her up in the morning only to find that she's turned 180 degrees in the night. She is a very good baby and only really cries when she's hungry or tired. She loves to eat as evidenced by her cute chubbiness!<br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_H_BBo6BBwtg/SjCJ7KdejFI/AAAAAAAAABg/NjXoyjmZtS4/s1600-h/April+Pics+080.jpg"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_H_BBo6BBwtg/SjCJ7KdejFI/AAAAAAAAABg/NjXoyjmZtS4/s320/April+Pics+080.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5345924407202057298" border="0" /></a>In May, Sophie was baptized on Mother's Day, May 10, 2009. That was a special day! My mom and dad came up, Owen's mom, dad, grandparents, 2 aunts and cousin came over for it, too. Our brothers, Timmy and Evan and Owen's sister, Maureen, came over for lunch afterwards. It was quite the celebration for Mother's Day and for Sophie! She turned 6 months old on May 17th! It's unreal how fast time goes by when you have kids! Sophie discovered her feet the following week on May 22nd. She hasn't put them in her mouth yet, but it's only a matter on time! Livvy is becoming such a sweet big sister and is more interested in Sophie now. She wants to hold her and likes to touch her face. She loves it when Sophie holds on to her hand or fingers. Not that I want time to go any faster than it already does, but I really can't wait until they can interact with each other and really play together. We stopped in Tunica and Owen and I took turns going down to the casino while the girls slept. We got adjoining rooms at the Sheraton Casino and it worked out perfectly! We arrived in Florida on Friday night, May 29th after a LONG day of driving. We had so much fun in Florida...vacations never last long enough! I can't believe I'm adding another activity to my already busy schedule, but I do love posting pictures of my girls so what the heck, right? First let me explain my URL. Livvy is a silly goose and that got shortened to Goose when she was about 18 months old. Sophie's due date was November 15th so we knew she'd be born close to Thanksgiving. I figured she would need a nickname, too, therefore she became my Turkey. Now they both have little songs from Mama to go with their nicknames. Fun times...<br /><br />I will probably use this blog to post pictures of the girls for our family to see. I will continue to send out my slideshows from the Kodak website for now, but naming and organizing all those pictures can be a little time consuming.
