So I haven't been very good about updating the blog! However with no job except taking care of the kids, I should have a little more time this summer to stay current. I hope to get some scrapbooking done this summer, too! I have a baby book for Sophie, but no scrapbook and that will have to change because I don't ever want her to feel left out! Here are some pictures and some highlights from the last couple months.
Livvy turned 3 on April 7, 2009! I can't believe my baby is 3 years old! She is growing up so fast! She had so much fun at her birthday party at Chuck E. Cheese, she didn't want to leave once it was over!
Sophie started rolling over on April 22nd and now we can't keep her off of her tummy! Sometimes we go in her room to get her up in the morning only to find that she's turned 180 degrees in the night. She is a very good baby and only really cries when she's hungry or tired. She loves to eat as evidenced by her cute chubbiness!
In May, Sophie was baptized on Mother's Day, May 10, 2009. That was a special day! My mom and dad came up, Owen's mom, dad, grandparents, 2 aunts and cousin came over for it, too. Our brothers, Timmy and Evan and Owen's sister, Maureen, came over for lunch afterwards. It was quite the celebration for Mother's Day and for Sophie! She turned 6 months old on May 17th! It's unreal how fast time goes by when you have kids! Sophie discovered her feet the following week on May 22nd. She hasn't put them in her mouth yet, but it's only a matter on time! Livvy is becoming such a sweet big sister and is more interested in Sophie now. She wants to hold her and likes to touch her face. She loves it when Sophie holds on to her hand or fingers. Not that I want time to go any faster than it already does, but I really can't wait until they can interact with each other and really play together. I think they will be really good friends...I hope so at least!
We went to Florida with Mom and Dad, Timmy and Samantha on May 28th. We stopped in Tunica and Owen and I took turns going down to the casino while the girls slept. We got adjoining rooms at the Sheraton Casino and it worked out perfectly! We arrived in Florida on Friday night, May 29th after a LONG day of driving. We had so much fun in Florida...vacations never last long enough! Here are a few pictures...
The girls and I stopped in Little Rock on our way home from Florida and got to see Kerry and her two girls, Sarah and Anna. It was so sweet to see them all together.
So that bring us to today, June 10th. Sophie and I had a play date with Staci and Bella Evans while Livvy was at school. I haven't even put those pictures on my computer yet, but when I do, I'll get those posted!
